    TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Rochester, New York, 14642!

    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Level 3)

    Location

    New York, NY

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 36–48 Hours per Week | Rotating Shifts (Days, Evenings, Nights) | Includes Weekends, Holidays, On-Call, Callback, and Charge Duties per Unit Needs | 17-Week Assignment

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a high-volume, fast-paced Adult Emergency Department managing more than 100,000 visits annually
    • Assess, triage, and treat a diverse patient population across a wide range of emergency and trauma presentations
    • Support care of boarder patients as needed within the department
    • Perform telemetry monitoring and interpretation as part of ongoing patient assessment
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams within one of the country's busiest Level I trauma centers
    • Float and assume charge nurse responsibilities per unit needs
    Required Qualifications
    • Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license — NY license required
    • Minimum of two (2) years of Emergency Department experience
    • Previous travel nursing experience in an Emergency Department setting required
    • Telemetry experience required
    • BLS certification through American Heart Association only
    • ACLS certification through American Heart Association only
    • NIHSS certification required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience working in a Level I trauma center or similarly high-acuity environment
    • Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to fast-paced, high-volume emergency settings
