Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 36 Hours per Week | 13-Week Assignment | Every Other Weekend and Holiday Requirement

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting with a patient ratio of 4:1 to 5:1
• Deliver care to a diverse emergency department patient population, including behavioral health patients within a locked unit
• Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate and thorough clinical documentation
• Adapt to workflow changes associated with an active department construction and expansion project
• Collaborate as part of a team-oriented unit requiring flexibility and strong communication skills
• Support stroke care protocols within a Joint Commission Certified Stroke Center

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department and/or Critical Care experience
• Minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Current CPI and NIHSS certifications
• Completion of required facility education modules

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 to 5 years of combined Emergency Department and Critical Care experience
• Experience working with behavioral health patients in an emergency or inpatient setting
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR
