Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Contract, 13 Weeks)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Rotating Weekends
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting with 35 beds
- Manage a patient ratio of 3:1 to 4:1 across a high-acuity emergency environment
- Perform and assist with procedures including trauma response, stroke care, STEMI management, and moderate sedation
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary night shift team including charge nurses, PCTs, medics, and unit secretaries
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification required
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification required
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification
- 2 or more years of Emergency Department experience
- Experience with Meditech EMR
- High-energy personality with the ability to thrive in a consistently busy clinical environment
