Contract | 36 Hours per Week | Rotating Shifts (Days/Evenings/Nights) | Every Other Weekend | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a high-volume, 65-bed pod-based Emergency Department serving approximately 230 visits per day
Perform comprehensive patient assessments, IV insertion, phlebotomy, EKG interpretation, and cardiac monitoring
Conduct point-of-care testing, splinting, and patient education across all patient populations including pediatric and acute mental health
Accurately document patient care activities using EPIC ASAP electronic medical records system
Maintain a 1:4 clinician-to-patient ratio and float to other areas as needed
Rotate shifts (7a–7p, 11a–11p, and 7p–7a) as requested, with low rotation frequency
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
AHA-certified BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Proficiency in general ED nursing skills including assessment, documentation, IV, phlebotomy, EKG, cardiac monitoring, point-of-care testing, splinting, and patient education
Ability to work rotating shifts and every other weekend as required
