Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a high-volume, 65-bed pod-based Emergency Department serving approximately 230 visits per day
Perform general ED nursing skills including patient assessment, IV insertion, phlebotomy, EKG, cardiac monitoring, point-of-care testing, and splinting
Deliver care across all patient populations, including pediatric patients and those presenting with acute mental health needs
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC ASAP EMR
Provide patient and family education throughout the care continuum
Float within the department as needed and participate in occasional shift rotation when requested
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
AHA-certified BLS, ACLS, and PALS
Proficiency in general ED nursing skills including assessment, documentation, cardiac monitoring, and critical thinking
