Contract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts (10:00–22:00) | Every Third Weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1–2
• Assess, monitor, and respond to patients presenting with acute and emergent conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
• Maintain ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications as required throughout the contract

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Active Iowa RN license or a compact license in-hand at the time of submission (Iowa license may have a 6–8 week turnaround time)
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required and must be obtained prior to start date
• At least 2 professional references within 3 years of anticipated start date
• All required documents must be submitted 3 business days prior to start date
• Local candidates are welcome and will be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Altera electronic health record system
• First-time travel nurses are accepted for this assignment
