Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | Onsite | Rotating schedule including weekdays and weekends
Key Responsibilities- Supervise nursing staff and oversee daily operations within the Emergency Room department
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care in compliance with facility policies and standards
- Coordinate staffing assignments and manage workflow to maintain appropriate coverage across shifts
- Serve as a clinical resource and point of escalation for nursing staff during assigned shifts
- Monitor and enforce adherence to regulatory, safety, and infection control standards
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois or compact license eligibility
- Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
- Prior experience in an Emergency Room or acute care setting
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a clinical environment
Preferred Experience / Skills- Previous experience in a nursing supervisor or charge nurse role
- Strong communication and critical decision-making skills in high-acuity environments
- Familiarity with staffing coordination and shift management responsibilities
