Contract | Days | Onsite | Rotating schedule including weekdays and weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and oversee daily operations within the Emergency Room department
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care in compliance with facility policies and standards
• Coordinate staffing assignments and manage workflow to maintain appropriate coverage across shifts
• Serve as a clinical resource and point of escalation for nursing staff during assigned shifts
• Monitor and enforce adherence to regulatory, safety, and infection control standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois or compact license eligibility
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• Prior experience in an Emergency Room or acute care setting
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a clinical environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a nursing supervisor or charge nurse role
• Strong communication and critical decision-making skills in high-acuity environments
• Familiarity with staffing coordination and shift management responsibilities
