Key Responsibilities- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
- Coordinate patient care with other disciplines across the care team
- Apply critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in clinical decision-making
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months is required; Cerner experience within the last 5 years also required — each work history entry must identify the charting system used, with dates provided if multiple EMR systems were used at a single employer
- Basic Life Support (BLS or HS-BLS or RQI BLS) certification from an approved vendor
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM / TEAM-A) or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Previous experience in an acute care facility setting
