Travel RN – Emergency Department (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Projected Start: July 13, 2026
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a 39-bed Emergency Department with a 4:1 patient ratio, including surge bed assignments
- Manage critical care drips, sedation, ESI triage, and respond to codes
- Assist with and support procedures including intubation, chest tube insertion, and splinting
- Participate in STEMI, Stroke, and Sepsis protocols as part of an interdisciplinary care team
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EDM electronic documentation system
- Uphold patient experience standards with a focus on teamwork and patient-centered care
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI certifications
- Demonstrated experience with critical care drips, sedation, ESI, and code management
- Ability to work every other weekend as part of scheduling requirements
- Charcoal grey scrubs required as unit dress code
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with STEMI, Stroke, and Sepsis protocols
- Trauma experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Rapid Infuser and Glidescope equipment
