Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population ranging from infants to geriatrics in a high-volume ER setting
• Maintain a patient assignment ratio of 1:4 within a 46-room emergency department with an average daily census of 135
• Utilize facility systems including Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR for documentation, medication management, and communication
• Adhere to weekend rotation requirements, working every other weekend
• Float as needed, potentially to a sister campus location
• Work assigned major holidays in accordance with facility holiday policy

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Must have all RTO finalized at time of submission; no RTO or schedule changes permitted post-offer or onsite
• Must complete all compliance and onboarding requirements within required deadlines to avoid start date delays

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Epic EMR and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Experience working in a high-census, fast-paced emergency department environment
• Familiarity with SBAR communication framework
