    Job Title

    Travel RN – Emergency Room (Night Shift)

    Location

    Spruce Pine, North Carolina

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Three 12-hour shifts per week | 6–8 weekend shifts per schedule

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a 12-bed community Emergency Department with an annual volume of approximately 14,000 visits and an average acuity of 3
    • Maintain patient ratios of 4–6 patients per RN with ED Tech support available 24/7
    • Perform and assist with advanced procedures including bedside cardioversion, procedural sedation, splinting, and intubation assistance
    • Utilize Cerner for clinical documentation and Carefusion Alaris IV pumps and GE bedside monitors for patient monitoring
    • Collaborate with MD and mid-level providers available on-site 24/7 to deliver timely emergency care
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
    • Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications
    • Current PALS or ENPC certification
    • Strong assessment skills with demonstrated competency in cardiac and trauma care
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • TNCC certification preferred
    • ICU or cardiac nursing background
    • Experience with trauma patient populations and advanced emergency procedures
