Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM, rotating days including weekends) | 36 or 48 hours per week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
- Coordinate patient care with other disciplines across the care team
- Apply critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in all aspects of patient care
- Manage emergency room patients across varying acuity levels
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS certification
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification
- AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM), or TEAM-A certification
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills- Minimum of 5 years of emergency room nursing experience; candidates with less experience but significant patient volume exposure will be considered
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
