Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (18:00–06:00) | 36 or 48 Hours Per Week | Every Third Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities- Perform direct patient care activities for all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Utilize the nursing process to provide care for patients presenting with trauma, surgical interventions, and medical comorbidities
- Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient outcomes and comfort
- Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers
- Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information in accordance with facility standards
- Float as needed to a similar or lower acuity unit
Required Qualifications- Current RN license; must meet eligibility criteria for licensure in the state of Missouri or currently hold Missouri licensure
- Minimum 2 years of inpatient Emergency Department experience; trauma experience required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
- NIHSS and TNCC certifications required
- Flu vaccination (or facility-approved exemption) required November 1 through April 1; declinations are not accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in a Level 2 Trauma Center environment
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records system
