Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma in Susanville, CA

Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER), Nights

Contract | Night Shift (some day shifts may be required) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Room department during night shift hours
• Float and provide care in the Medical/Surgical department as needed
• Deliver 24/7 emergency nursing care in a critical access hospital setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN license with no encumbrances (verified within the last 30 days)
• Minimum of 24 months of Emergency Room experience, with recent experience within the last 12 months
• Experience in both Emergency Room and Medical/Surgical departments
• Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
• Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
• Active PALS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
• Active TNCC certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
• ER skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
• Valid driver's license for residency verification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Experience working in a critical access hospital environment
• Familiarity with trauma-level designated facilities and ability to document trauma level and bed count on resume
