Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 36 hours per week | 07:00–19:30 | Every other weekend and every other holiday per department rotation | No call required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and clinical presentation
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
- Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic EHR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current PALS certification
- Proficiency with Epic EHR
- Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility location
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience working in a high-volume Emergency Department
- Strong triage assessment and critical thinking skills
