Key Responsibilities- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff within the Emergency Room setting
- Coordinate patient care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking and professional judgment
- Apply independent and supervisory discretion in dynamic, fast-paced emergency care situations
- Accurately document patient care activities using Epic and other electronic medical record systems
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification
- AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS certification
- Recent Epic experience within the last 12 months, as well as Cerner experience within the last 5 years; each work history entry must identify the charting system used, with dates provided if multiple EMR systems were used within a single role
Preferred Experience / Skills- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
