Key Responsibilities
Provide unit-based leadership working collaboratively with the Nurse Manager, Director, Physicians, and staff
Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing and ancillary personnel using professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment
Ensure all patients on the unit receive cost-effective, professional care resulting in positive outcomes and high patient satisfaction
Maintain the highest level of patient safety across the unit
Assess and implement steps to improve the quality of the patient experience
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent combination of education and related experience
Demonstrated supervisory skills or prior supervisory experience
Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification
AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
Master's Degree in Nursing or related field
Five or more years of technical nursing experience
