Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma in Utica, NY

Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Utica, New York

Contract | Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department serving newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
• Manage and treat common emergency diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Operate specialty equipment including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun devices
• Work across a 64-bed unit encompassing triage, acute care, super track, trauma, clinical decision, and psychiatric areas
• Float to other units as required
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities when needed

• Active New York State Registered Nurse license (verified via NURSYS)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience, including some pediatric experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current AHA certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS
• TNCC certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR

• Charge nurse experience or demonstrated charge capability
• Experience with block scheduling environments in high-acuity emergency settings
• Familiarity with stroke, trauma, and cardiac arrest protocols
