Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma in Utica, NY

Contract | Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department serving newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
• Manage and treat common diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Operate specialty equipment including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun devices
• Work across a 64-bed department encompassing triage, acute care, super track, trauma, CDU, and psychiatric areas
• Float to other units as required
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities when needed

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license, verified through NURSYS
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience, including some pediatric experience
• Current AHA certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Current NIHSS certification
• TNCC certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Charge nurse experience or demonstrated charge capability
• Experience managing high-acuity patients across a diverse patient population
