Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Every Other Weekend | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 23-bed Emergency Department with a 4:1 patient ratio
• Perform standard ED procedures in a Level IV Trauma, Primary Stroke Center, and Chest Pain Accredited facility with PCI (STEMI 24/7) capability
• Document patient care and clinical information using the Meditech documentation system
• Collaborate with an all-RN nursing staff alongside lobby technicians and unit secretaries
• Float to other units as needed per facility policy
• Adhere to facility dress code, including royal blue scrubs, non-absorbent slip-resistant footwear, and grooming standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas RN License — temporary licenses will not be accepted
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC
• NIHSS Certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech electronic documentation system
• Familiarity with Level IV Trauma and stroke center protocols
