    Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

    Location

    Wenatchee, WA

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days/Evenings | 3x12-Hour Shifts (0700–1930) | 36 Hours per Week

    Key Responsibilities
    • Coordinate and provide high-quality, compassionate patient care utilizing the nursing process and unit-specific standards of practice.
    • Develop, implement, and continually reassess individualized patient plans of care, including physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs.
    • Administer medications and perform nursing procedures and treatments while accurately documenting assessments, interventions, and patient responses.
    • Conduct holistic, ongoing patient assessments and evaluate discharge plans for appropriateness, educational needs, and necessary changes.
    • Educate patients, families, and significant others on relevant health information in a timely manner.
    • Communicate and collaborate with all members of the healthcare team while maintaining a clean and safe environment per hospital and unit policies.
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Washington State RN licensure or Compact RN licensure required.
    • Active BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required.
    • Must practice consistently within the guidelines of the Washington Nurse Practice Act and unit-specific standards.
    • Ability to float as a sitter and participate in rotation floats, including to an alternate campus.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience in an emergency room or acute care nursing setting.
    • Demonstrated ability to delegate appropriately and oversee care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel.
