Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a 14-bed Emergency Department with patient ratios of 1:3–4
- Perform and assist with procedures including central line insertion, chest tubes, thoracic lavage, and intubations
- Collaborate with charge nurses, providers, and interdisciplinary staff across mid and night shift teams
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Meditech EMR
- Demonstrate independent clinical judgment and strong communication skills in a fast-paced emergency care environment
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
- Ability to work 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM shift in an onsite emergency department setting
- Strong patient care, communication, and customer service skills; independent and self-motivated work style
Preferred Experience / Skills- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification
- Intraosseous (IO) training and experience
- Experience working in a travel nursing capacity within an emergency department
