Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a 52-bed Emergency Department with an average patient ratio of 3:1 (low acuity 5:1; pediatrics utilizing team nursing)
Perform IV starts, medication administration, sedation support, and pediatric care
Operate Alaris equipment and document accurately within Meditech/CPN EMR
Adhere to medication scanning protocols for every patient encounter
Collaborate within a team structure including charge nurses, technicians, unit clerks, physicians, and midlevel providers
Maintain a strong focus on patient experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital Emergency Department experience
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH certifications
Ability to maintain pace in a high-volume, fast-paced Emergency Department
Adaptable, self-sufficient, and able to learn quickly in a diverse team environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
ENPC certification
Prior experience with Meditech EMR
Previous travel nursing experience in large facilities or high-volume settings
