Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Travel)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Mids Shift (3:00 PM – 3:00 AM) | 36 Hours per Week Guaranteed | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a 26-bed Emergency Department serving all patient populations including adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients
- Manage and monitor patients presenting with common diagnoses including respiratory distress, overdose, CHF, dialysis needs, and hypertension
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:4–5, adjusting flexibly based on patient acuity
- Operate GE monitoring equipment and standard ED equipment in accordance with department protocols
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EHR system
- Float to like assignments as needed to support department operations
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- Associate of Nursing degree or higher
- Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Must reside 60 miles or greater from facility to qualify as a travel candidate
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience with Meditech EHR system
- Team-oriented, engaged, and positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills
