Travel RN – Emergency Department (7P–7A)

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours Guaranteed Per Week | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a 26-bed Emergency Department serving all patient populations including pediatric, adult, and geriatric
Manage a patient ratio of 1:4–5, adjusting as needed based on patient acuity
Assess, monitor, and treat patients presenting with conditions such as respiratory distress, overdose, CHF, dialysis needs, and hypertension
Operate GE monitors and standard ED equipment while documenting care accurately in Meditech EHR
Float to like assignments as required by unit needs
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver safe, high-quality emergency care
Required Qualifications
Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience
Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
Must reside 60 miles or greater from facility to qualify for travel placement
No call requirements
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience with Meditech EHR system strongly preferred
Team-oriented, engaged, and positive attitude with ability to adapt in a fast-paced emergency environment
