Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room environment within an acute care setting
Triage and assess patients using established Emergency Severity Index (ESI) protocolsmaintain patient ratios of approximately 1:2.5 on nights and weekends as assigned
Participate in rotating on-call and weekend call schedules as required
Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs, including potential float to sister facilities within 75 miles
Complete required orientation modules, including both billable and non-billable components, as assigned by specialty
Required Qualifications
Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oklahoma (no pending licenses accepted)
Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience in an acute care setting
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
ESI (Emergency Severity Index) certification required
Must reside more than 75 miles from the contracted facility (local candidates within 75 miles are not eligible)
Valid driver's license or state-issued ID, plus a utility bill or lease/mortgage statement in the traveler's name with a matching address dated within the last three months, required at time of submission
Preferred Experience / Skills
First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply
Experience floating across multiple units or facilities within an acute care environment
Familiarity with high-volume emergency departments and variable daily census demands
