Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 36 hours/week | Rotating Evening Shifts (3:00 PM – 3:30 AM or 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every other weekend required | Holiday rotation required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume, Level III Trauma Center Emergency Department with 38 beds and 2 trauma bays
• Assess, triage, and manage a diverse patient population in one of Ohio's top 10 busiest Emergency Departments
• Utilize Epic EMR for all clinical documentation — proficiency is mandatory for this role
• Participate in rotating evening shift coverage, including every other weekend and holiday rotation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver timely, high-quality emergency care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio or compact eligibility
• Minimum of 3 completed travel ED assignments and/or 3 years of current/recent Emergency Department experience
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Demonstrated competency with Epic EMR is required — candidates without documented Epic experience will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification strongly preferred
• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification strongly preferred
• Experience in a high-volume or trauma-designated Emergency Department
