Travel Nurse RN - Endoscopy - $1,822 per week in Salem, VA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8.5 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - 2 years of RN experience Description: The endoscopy unit performs a variety of procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, and bronchoscopy. All RNs are trained to admit patients, circulate, scrub in procedural cases, recover, and discharge patients. The unit consists of 4 endoscopy procedure rooms staffed by approximately 25 team members including RNs, scrub techs, and scope room techs. Patient ratios are approximately 20-30 patients through the department on weekdays. The unit is equipped with Olympus scopes and utilizes Provation for procedural documentation. Ideal candidates will be fast-paced, multi-tasking individuals who learn quickly and are comfortable in frequently changing situations. A team-oriented approach is essential. PACU or ICU experience is preferred but not required. Weekend and on-call availability is required for all staff.
