Travel Nurse RN - Endoscopy - $1,844 per week in Tomball, TX

Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Endoscopy knowledge Description: Flexible depending on the scheduled case start times. The unit has 3 Endoscopy rooms and is staffed by 12 team members. The team consists of a Charge RN, RN Circulators, Endo Techs, Pre-op RNs, and PACU RNs. There is a patient ratio of 1:1 with an RN and Endo Tech for each Endoscopy room. Equipment used includes Olympus Scopes and EndoSoft, with a transition to new systems. The EMR system is MediTech. Candidates must possess endoscopy knowledge to be considered for this role. Preferred candidates will also be team players with good communication skills. Typical procedures performed in this unit include EGD and Colonoscopy. Scrub color is blue, and specific dress guidelines must be followed. This position requires participation in on-call duties. The unit boasts a 97% employee satisfaction rate. The staff is composed of a great group of techs and nurses who have been working together for an extended period.
