Job Summary:
Endoscopy Laboratory Technologist position available in San Antonio, Texas. This role involves supporting the endoscopy unit, performing procedures such as EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, Bronchoscopy, and EBUS, with an emphasis on moderate sedation and patient care. The position requires collaboration within a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); 2 years of experience in endoscopy procedures including EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP; ability to perform moderate sedation with another registered nurse; located in or willing to work at the specified address in San Antonio, Texas.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Bronchoscopy, EBUS; familiarity with Olympus scopes, Medivator, Scope Buddy equipment; working knowledge of Meditech electronic medical records.
• Additional Information: Support staff includes a combination of full-time, part-time, and per diem registered nurses and technicians. The unit features a small team with a focus on gastrointestinal and endoscopy procedures, with patient ratios of 1:1 during sedation. The dress code is hospital scrub attire in Ceal Blue. Weekend and on-call shifts are required, typically 2-3 days a week with every third weekend on call.
