TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Endoscopy RN in Orangeburg, South Carolina, 29118!
Job Title: Endoscopy Registered Nurse

Must-Have: No first-timers accepted
Description:
Traveler needs to stay within a 30-minute radius of the facility to respond to call as expected.
The position requires working 5x8 shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:1.
Every third weekend call is required from 3 PM Friday to 6 AM Monday morning.
There will also be some call required during the week after 3 PM.
The call will be shared among the traveler and two full-time nurses.
Floating within scope to meet facility needs is not required.
Candidates will not be considered if they are first-timers.
Proof of SC license or Compact license is necessary before starting.
Candidates must have valid BLS and ACLS certifications.
The facility does allow for one shift to be called off every two weeks.
All time off requests must be included at submission and are subject to approval based on facility needs.
During hurricane season, all staff may be assigned to emergency response teams.
Travelers should be aware that the peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
This position requires experience in administering conscious sedation, airway management, and other related skills within the endoscopy specialty.
Prior charge experience is preferred.
Documentation and charting will be conducted using Epic.
Patient population includes adults and geriatrics, with a daily census that varies.
There are three procedure rooms available for the position.
Additional competencies may include handling various medical equipment and performing specialized procedures relevant to endoscopy.
