Travel Nurse RN - Endoscopy - $2,006 per week in Richmond, VA

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Endoscopy Profession: RN Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-17:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License required Certifications: Certifications required Must-Have: Ability to perform advanced procedures such as ERCP and EUS. Credentials and experience of more than 1 year according to scope of practice. Advanced skills in ERCP, EUS, robotic bronchoscopy, and EBUS. Description: The unit consists of 2 endoscopy suites. Patient ratios are 1:1 for circulation; up to 2 patients for PACU, and preoperative patients are 1:1 during questioning but may be up to 1:3 if waiting. Unit staffing includes 1 circulator and 1 tech in the room. A scope washer is designated for the shift. The type of equipment includes Olympus scopes, OER elite washers, and ION robots. Documentation is managed through Meditech Expanse and Provation. Scheduling ranges from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Friday based on assignment. Floating to other facilities may be required as needed. Procedures performed include colonoscopy, EGD, Pill Cam, Bravos, ERCP, EUS, EBUS, ION, bronchoscopy, and others. Huddles are conducted prior to the start of each day. The unit embraces new equipment and technology, along with experienced staff. Consideration for schedule options may also be available. This is a vacant position intending to fill an existing role.
