Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:30-15:00 Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 1+ years License: Required to work as an RN in the respective state Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Endoscopy experience of at least one year. Description: Provides care to a large number of patients each year. Treats patients in the emergency room. Accredited by the recognized accrediting agency for healthcare facilities. Offers instructional programs for nursing students as well as numerous allied health student extern programs. Provides a wide range of surgical services including robotic surgery, spine, orthopedic, vascular, thoracic, interventional pain management, interventional cardiology, gynecological, general, oral, urological, eye, and trauma/emergency services. Unit profile includes a department focusing on endoscopy. Role is for an RN specializing in endoscopy. Position is needed for every other weekend and on-call as required. Patient population includes adult and geriatric patients. Supervisor for this role is the Endoscopy Manager. Common procedures include EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, bronchoscopy, and feeding tube placements. Ideal candidate should be dependable, hardworking, a team player, and professional. Dress code requires navy blue scrubs or hospital OR scrubs. Casual wear is not acceptable. Position is created due to new or expanded service line.
