Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 3 years Endoscopy experience required License: RN License required Certifications: NIHSS, ACLS, BLS required; BSN highly desired Must-Have: - Minimum of 3 years of Endoscopy experience - RN License - NIHSS, ACLS, BLS certifications Description: Fulfills the needs of patients and families by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. Delivers care to patients in a competent, caring, and efficient manner. Applies knowledge of growth and development over the lifespan necessary to provide age-appropriate care. Demonstrates the ability to obtain information and interpret it in terms of the patient’s needs. Demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatment needed by these patients. Makes initial assessments and determines appropriate nursing needs of assigned patients, as evidenced by appropriate documentation. Performs initial and ongoing assessments on all assigned patients, including a review of systems, as evidenced by appropriate documentation. Completes admission assessments in the time frame established, according to policy and procedures.
