Travel Nurse RN - Endoscopy - $2,313 per week in Madison, WI

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent experience in recovering sedated GI and pulmonary procedures. License: RN license required; pending license accepted with submission. Certifications: AHA ACLS and BLS required, CGRN preferred. Must-Have: Must have experience in Moderate Sedation administration and recovery for GI and pulmonary procedures. Experience in Level 1-Trauma center or similar size hospital. Epic experience is required. Description: The Registered Nurse will provide care for patients during GI and Bronchoscopy procedures, including the administration of sedation. The nurse will be an integral part of a surgical team that performs multispecialty procedures. Responsibilities include managing patients in pre/post all levels of care including PACU/Phase I and Phase II recovery. The role requires the ability to perform Moderate Sedation during procedures. Patients will be managed within a targeted sedation range based on their Ramsay Sedation Scale score. The nurse must possess skills in administering conscious sedation and airway management. Experience with various endoscopic procedures such as ERCP, EUS, EGD, and Colonoscopy is essential. High acuity and willingness to perform bedside procedures are required. The nurse should be skilled in IV management and monitoring for conscious sedation recovery. It is necessary to pass a telemetry test prior to starting the position. All relevant patient diagnoses should be managed effectively. Travelers are required to float as needed within the facility.
