Job Description
- Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedural nursing care for endoscopy patients.
- Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures including ERCP, EUS, and other advanced therapeutic cases.
- Monitor and assess patient status throughout procedures and recovery, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Prepare and maintain endoscopy suites, ensuring equipment and supplies are properly set up and functioning.
- Administer moderate sedation and monitor patients per hospital policy and protocols.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Adhere to infection control and safety standards at all times.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
- Participate in staff meetings, continuing education, and competency reviews as required.
