Travel Nurse RN - Endoscopy - $2,453 per week in Madison, WI

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent experience in acute care within the specialty. License: RN license required, can accept pending license with submission. Certifications: ACLS, BLS required. Must-Have: - Experience recovering sedated GI and pulmonary procedures such as ERCP, EUS, EGD, Colonoscopy, Bronchoscopy. - Epic charting system experience required. - Ability to perform Moderate Sedation in procedures. - Ability to manage patients in Phase I and Phase II recovery. Description: The Registered Nurse will provide care for patients during GI and Bronchoscopy procedures, including the administration of sedation. The nurse will be an integral part of a surgical team performing multispecialty procedures. Overall responsibility for the management of the operating room will be assumed. Candidates must utilize an RN-driven assessment approach to sedation. Patients will be managed within the targeted sedation range based on their Ramsay Sedation Scale score. Candidates must have experience with moderate sedation and recovery for various endoscopic procedures. High acuity experience is necessary, and the candidate must be willing to perform bedside procedures. Travelers may be required to float as needed. Candidates must pass a telemetry test prior to starting.
