Med Ninjas is seeking a travel nurse RN Endoscopy for a travel nursing job in Rock Island, Illinois.
Job Summary (List Format):
- Serve as a key member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team, providing professional clinical care to patients.
- Contribute clinical knowledge and skills in managing and delivering patient care.
- May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
- Complete a 16-hour onboarding orientation (NBO).
- Utilize EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Compensation includes overtime/holiday pay (1.15x), call back (1.5x, 2 hr minimum), on-call ($9/hr), and charge/preceptorship ($6/hr).
- Overtime (OT) is billable after 40 hours for 36-40 hr/week contracts, or after 48 hours for 48 hr/week contracts.
- Required to work 1-2 out of 3 major summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day).
- Must attend one of the provided orientation dates.
- Required qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years Endoscopy experience.
- Hospital/medical center experience.
- Illinois State RN license.
- EPIC EMR experience.
- Not employed by UnityPoint in the last 12 months.
- Taxable address must be outside 50 miles from facility (or 10% pay reduction for local Madison hires).
- Preferred qualifications:
- BSN degree.
- At least 1 completed traveler contract.
- Submission requirements:
- Driver’s license.
- Work history/resume.
- Skills checklist (within 1 year).
- License verification.
- Required certifications (ACLS, BLS).
- One supervisory reference.
- Facility features:
- Various trauma center levels across locations (Level 1–4).
- Regional assignment in the Quad Cities area.
- Accepts IA single-state or compact RN licenses (can be pending at start).
Med Ninjas Job ID #18048. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
