Description:
This position requires a registered nurse specializing in endoscopy.
The shift is 8 hours long with variable start times ranging from 6:15 AM to 8:00 AM based on case mix for the week.
End times are planned for 8 hours, but flexibility is required to remain for cases that run long.
The role involves primarily assisting with colonoscopies and basic endoscopic procedures.
The procedure rooms are equipped for conscious sedation, and procedures requiring anesthesia are conducted nearby in adjacent operating room suites.
Candidates must have strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Teamwork and collaboration with other medical staff are essential for success in this role.
