  • Schedule: 4x10
  • Experience Required: 2 Years
  • Weekly Pay: $2550 to $2750
Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care before, during, and after endoscopic procedures
  • Perform patient assessments, obtain medical histories, and prepare patients for procedures
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and moderate sedation as prescribed
  • Continuously monitor patient vital signs, oxygenation, and cardiac status throughout procedures
  • Assist physicians during upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, bronchoscopy, and other diagnostic or therapeutic procedures
  • Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition and procedural emergencies
  • Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, medications, and discharge instructions
  • Ensure proper handling and documentation of specimens collected during procedures
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and endoscopy reprocessing standards
  • Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, technicians, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to deliver outstanding patient care
Requirements
  • Active Washington Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Endoscopy nursing experience
  • Current BLS Certification required
  • Current ACLS Certification required
  • Experience with moderate sedation and recovery care preferred
  • Strong knowledge of gastrointestinal procedures, patient monitoring, and procedural nursing
  • Excellent assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
  • Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced procedural environment
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centered care
