Travel Nurse RN - Endoscopy - $2,567 per week in Rochester, NY

Job Opportunity – Endoscopy Registered Nurse – New York

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Rochester, New York

Schedule: 8-week assignment, 10-hour shifts (8:00 AM - 6:30 PM), varying days off based on department needs. On-call requirements include weeknights, weekends, and holidays, approximately 4-6 shifts per month.

Highlights:

• Endoscopy procedural unit specializing in advanced GI and pulmonary procedures including EUS, ERCP, Navigational Bronchoscopy, EBUS, Manometry, and Fibroscan
• Patient population includes pancreatic, lung, colon, and gastric cancers, polyps, Barrett's esophagus, and CBD stones/strictures
• 30-bed unit with 3:1 patient ratio and comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
• Float to Pre-Anesthesia/PACU as needed; experience with both inpatient and outpatient endoscopy settings
• Work with specialized equipment including ERBE, Olympus scopes/processors, Super-D, Bravo, VCE, and Manometry systems
• EPIC charting system experience required; pre-start modules available (up to 5 billable hours)

Requirements:

• Active New York RN license required prior to submission
• Minimum 1 year of endoscopy nursing experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required; CGRN preferred
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Demonstrated competency in phlebotomy and IV placement (mandatory skill validation required)
• Experience administering and monitoring conscious sedation, airway management, and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias
• Proficiency with endoscopic procedures including colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, EUS, bronchoscopy, and EBUS
• Must reside more than 75 miles from facility location
• Maximum of 10 days requested time off during assignment
• First-time travelers accepted
