Job Summary Endoscopy Nursing, ENDO LAB The healthcare organization is seeking a qualified Endoscopy Nurse to join the team in the Endoscopy Lab. This role involves providing skilled patient care in a fast-paced environment with a focus on GI procedures, including handling Olympus scopes and reprocessing.
Job Details
Position Requirements: Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) License, American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification, minimum of 2-3 years working in one location, and at least 2 years of travel experience.
Schedule: Day shift, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities include assisting with GI procedures, managing procedural and recovery rooms, and ensuring proper handling and reprocessing of endoscopy equipment.
The department operates weekdays, with on-call responsibilities for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
The unit comprises 7 procedural rooms, 18 PACU bays, and handles approximately 60-70 procedures daily.
