Description:
Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Provides, delegates, supervises, and documents care and teaching for patients and families.
Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team.
Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals.
Ensures implementation of solutions.
RNs will receive patients with deep sedation or general anesthesia.
Outpatient and inpatient add-ons will be involved.
There are recovery rooms available for patient care.
Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities are necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services is required.
Effective communication with patients, families, and hospital personnel is essential.
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
A bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
