Travel Nurse RN - Endoscopy - $2,740 to $2,840 per week in Champaign, IL

Position: RN – Endoscopy Center $$SN$$
Location: Champaign, Illinois
Shift: Days – 4x9s (Rotating start times between 6:30 AM – 8:00 AM)
Duration: 13 weeks
Hours: 36 hours/week

Job Duties

• Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing routine GI procedures, including colonoscopy and upper endoscopy.

• Prepare patients for procedures, complete assessments, review health history, start IVs, and provide patient education.

• Monitor patients during procedures and administer moderate sedation under physician direction.

• Provide Phase 1 and Phase 2 recovery care.

• Assist the CRNA during cases requiring anesthesia involvement.

• Implement nursing interventions and continuously evaluate and modify the plan of care.

• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.

• Ensure patient and staff safety and report safety hazards or incidents as appropriate.

• Delegate appropriate tasks to unlicensed personnel and collaborate with physicians and other clinical staff.

• Float between the Champaign Endoscopy Center and Digestive Health Department as required.
