First Connect Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Endoscopy for a travel nursing job in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

Job Description & Requirements

Gastroenterology (GI / Endoscopy) Registered Nurse – Day Shift

  • Schedule: Day Shift | 4x10-Hour Shifts | Monday – Friday | 40 Hours Guaranteed Per Week
  • On-Call Protocol [MANDATORY]:

    • Weekday Call: Rotational weeknight coverage (17:30 – 07:00, Monday – Friday).
    • Weekend Call: Full weekend coverage from Friday 17:30 through Monday 07:00.

     

Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]

  • Procedural Competency [CRITICAL HARDSTOP]: Candidates MUST have direct experience assisting with Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) and Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) procedures.
  • Clinical Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 1 year of active GI/Endoscopy nursing experience in an acute hospital setting. Prior Level 1 Trauma environment and previous travel nursing experience are strongly preferred.
  • EMR Mandate: Direct hands-on proficiency with Epic EMR is required.
  • Licensure & Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]:
    • Active Connecticut State RN License.
    • Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
    • Active AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
