Job Details
Coordinates inpatient and outpatient endoscopy services
Pre-admission nursing assessments and testing
Assists with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
Post-procedure care and assessment
Patient/family education
May function as a designated charge nurse
May supervise LPNs, Endoscopy Techs, aides, and patient access staff
Requirements
Current NY RN license
BLS
ACLS required before completion of introductory period
Previous hospital aide or LPN experience
Strong communication skills
