Join our dedicated Endoscopy team as a Registered Nurse in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. This role is based in a hospital setting, focusing on providing comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing various endoscopic procedures.
The Endoscopy RN is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering safe, high-quality nursing care throughout the patient's journey, including pre-procedure preparation, intra-procedure support (including scrub/tech functions), and post-procedure recovery.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and deliver safe and effective nursing care for patients in the Endoscopy unit.
Provide pre-procedure patient assessment, education, and preparation.
Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures, potentially performing scrub or tech duties.
Monitor patients during and after procedures, managing recovery and post-procedure care.
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the endoscopy experience.
Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of recent Registered Nurse experience in an Endoscopy setting.
Demonstrated experience with both pre-procedure and post-procedure patient care in Endoscopy.
Proficiency in scrub/tech functions during Endoscopy procedures.
Current Flu Vaccine required; no exemptions accepted.

Shift Details
Primary Shift: Nights (NOC)
Shift Duration: 8 hours per shift
Days per Week: 5 days per week
Call Requirements: Rotating evening, night, and weekend call rotation.
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Licensing Requirements
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado or ability to obtain prior to start.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
