Key Responsibilities of the Travel Endoscopy Registered Nurse:
  • Assist physicians during endoscopic and other GI procedures
  • Prepare and maintain the sterile field, instruments, and equipment for procedures
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after sedation, ensuring safety and comfort
  • Administer medications and monitor vital signs according to protocol
  • Provide patient education on procedures, recovery, and follow-up care
  • Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately
  • Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and anesthesia providers to deliver efficient, high-quality care
Requirements of the Travel Endoscopy Registered Nurse:
  • Active RN license (Massachusetts or compact state)
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent Endoscopy experience including EPIC.
  • Strong knowledge of sedation, infection control, and endoscopic equipment
