Shifts: M-F 8am - 8pm; On call required for overnights and weekends

Seven Healthcare are seeking a Level 3 RN Endo/GI for a travel assignment in Rochester, NY. This role involves providing specialized care in the endoscopy and gastrointestinal departments. The successful candidate will join a dedicated team committed to patient care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities of the Level 3 RN Endo/GI- Answering patient questions and addressing their concerns
- Observing patient vital signs
- Sedating patients before procedures
- Recovering patients after procedures
- Administering the necessary medication to patients
- Completing all necessary documentation including patient notes and discharge documents
- Preparing the instruments, equipment, and supplies for the procedure
- Cleaning and sterilizing equipment before use
- Providing assistance to Doctors throughout the procedure
- Administering IV drips
Requirements of the Level 3 RN Endo/GI- NY license ONLY
- BLS Certification (AHA ONLY)
- ACLS Certification (AHA ONLY)
- 2 years previous endoscopy procedure experience
- Telemetry monitoring and rhythm identification Required
- Conscious sedation
- Expert IV insertion
- Recovering patients from general anesthesia required
- Performing intake for GI procedures
